Nola D. Jackson is a partner at Cruser & Mitchell, LLP. She received her undergraduate degree at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and her Juris Doctorate at Georgia State University where she was a member of moot court. Nola has extensive experience working within Georgia's courts. While a student at Georgia State University, Nola clerked for Senior Judge Joel J. Fryer, Georgia Supreme Court Justice Carol W. Hunstein and Georgia Supreme Court Justice Hugh P. Thompson. After graduation Nola served as the Staff Attorney to the Senior Judge Division of the Fulton County Superior Court where she served such distinguished judges as Joel J. Fryer, Don A. Langham, John S. Langford, George B. Culpepper, III, Rufe E. McCombs, and L.A. McConnell, Jr. As staff attorney for the Senior Judge Division, Nola worked with senior judges and visiting judges throughout the state on litigation covering criminal prosecutions, complex business disputes, employment, personal injury, zoning, and professional liability. While serving as the Senior Judge staff attorney, Nola worked on a number of high profile decisions that have changed Georgia law. Nola has been a guest lecturer in Georgia State University classes on Georgia civil procedure. She has also served as a guest judge for Moot Court competitions including the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court competition.
In her tenure at Cruser & Mitchell, LLP, Nola has focused on civil tort litigation. Nola represents individuals, companies, corporations and insurance companies in state and federal courts. Her practice emphasizes the areas of professional liability, products liability, premises liability, construction litigation, and coverage disputes.
