Jason D. Sammis is a partner with Cruser & Mitchell, LLP heading our Florida office. He received his undergraduate degree at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and his Juris Doctorate degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. At the University of Florida, Jason was a member of the Florida Law Review and was chair of the Justice Campbell Thornal Moot Court Board. Jason has extensive experience in defending employment discrimination lawsuits after working at a Jacksonville based and then national defense firm. Jason has defended numerous sexual harassment lawsuits as well as race, sex, disability, and age discrimination claims. Jason also has experience with FMLA cases, ERISA cases, as well as experience in traditional labor law on the side of management. Jason's practice at Cruser & Mitchell is focused on litigating civil rights, public entity and employment discrimination lawsuits. Jason is admitted to the state bars of Georgia and Florida, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle District of Georgia, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United Sates Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
