Evan is a partner at Cruser & Mitchell, LLP, specializing in civil tort litigation across the State of Georgia. He regularly practices in both the state and federal courts. With over 20 years of experience, Evan has tried a variety of cases, representing both individuals and companies involved in automobile and trucking collisions, residential and commercial premises liability incidents, medical malpractice actions, insurance coverage disputes, professional liability actions, and civil rights actions involving employment, personal injury, and medical malpractice issues. Evan has also tried several commercial litigation cases.

In addition to his trial practice, Evan has been involved in many appellate decisions, including the seminal cases interpreting the Georgia Tort Claim Act, a notable Georgia Supreme Court decision involving the amount of proof needed to successfully respond to a motion for summary judgment, and a recent Georgia Court of Appeals decision affirming the law on whether an incident "arose out of" the use of a vehicle for an insurance policy to apply. Evan has also resolved countless cases through mediation.
